SMART Agriculture for Sustainable Food and Bioenergy Productions: Now and Beyond
“The 2023 Summer Course is held to provide alternative international education activities and increasing graduates’ abilities through experience-based learning in a multidisciplinary and multicultural atmosphere as well as awareness of the current issues related to sustainable tropical agriculture.
In addition, the program is arranged to improve the ability of students to communicate effectively both orally and in writing as well as to work in a team. This program is also aimed to improve in engineering capabilities related to the sustainable tropical agriculture.”
The topics of this summer course will cover:
- SMART and Precision Agriculture on Plantations
- Coffee Plantations and Processing
- Palm Oil and CPO Productions
- SMART Greenhouse for tropical area,
- Plant factory with artificial light
- Bioenergy generations from biomass and bio-product.
